Gorgeous Klarry has been accepted as a full time trainee in The Lions Assistance Dogs program. We intercepted him going to the pound, he was just 6 months old, and asked Bianca if she could take him for us for some training. Klarry had springs in his legs, was strong on the lead, but we saw his beautiful character and knew he would be a great dog with some guidance. After only 2 weeks of being with Bianca, Klarry was ready to be tested by the Lions' trainers. When he got the "thumbs up", we were ecstactic. Klarry was given some extra time in his assessment whilst at the Verdun Training Centre, and when we received the 'phone call to say he had made it as a full time trainee, it was just wonderful. Look at him now, in his special "working" coat. So proud of you young man.
